Leicester City welcomes Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium
Leicester City welcomes Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium in a fixture from the sixth round of the Premier League. Here our our English Premier League predictions for this game.
Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester started the season with a run of four games being unbeaten, but in the previous round they suffered their first loss for the campaign. The Foxes visited Manchester United at the Old Trafford and conceded a 0-1 defeat. The only goal in the match was scored from a penalty kick, executed by Marcus Rashford. Now Leicester will try to bounce back from this loss, but it won’t be easy against Spurs.
For this game Brendan Rodgers can’t rely on Matthew James and Daniel Amartey, who are still recovering from their injuries. Against Manchester United Rodgers left Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes on the bench, so let’s see if he’s going to use them on Saturday.
Tottenham Hotspur are visiting King Power just few days after their first Champions League game for the season. Spurs travelled to Greece to face Olympiakos and made a 2-2 draw. Harry Kane and Lucas Moura gave Tottenham a very good advantage, but Mauricio Pochettino’s team didn’t keep its advantage. Daniel Podence and Mathieu Valbuena equalised for the Greek side.
In the Premier League Tottenham are currently third in the standings with 8 points, being just two points behind the second Manchester City. In the previous round Spurs enjoyed their second win for the season, winning against Crystal Palace at home. Son Heung-Min scored two goals for Tottenham, while Erik Lamela added one more. Palace’s Patrick van Aanholt scored himself an own goal.
In our English Premier League predictions we think that Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur will offer us a great game at the King Power Stadium. We’re talking here about two of the best teams in England, so stay tuned.
